So what's the problem?
Loss of a notebook and exposure to personal information.
Difficulty in effectively reporting to divorced parents when the notebook is sent in the child's file to one of the parents.
Another challenge is the inability to store medical record data.
Parents do not have access to daily information at all times.
The difficulty for the treatment team in writing the report in the contact notebook. (Time-consuming)
My Goals

Kesher is a joint venture of the MAX Organization and Israel Elwyn
I volunteered at Max program for youth empowerment through technology projects and practical entrepreneurship.
During my volunteering, I characterized and designed the Kesher App for Elwyn Association, which supports
rehabilitative daycare centers for toddlers with special needs throughout the country. Max Association chose
only six projects out of 31 projects, based on social value and high realization potential. Out of the six
projects presented to Cyberark, Kesher App was selected to be funded and delivered to production. Kesher
App was also presented by Cyberark in Hackathon event, in which sixteen senior programmers participated.
The project was implemented in the special education kindergartens of the Elwyn Israel association.

Introduction
Volunteered to work in Project MAX which empowers teens through technology projects and practical entrepreneurship.
Defined requirements and designed a solution for Israel Elwyn, which supports rehabilitative daycare centers for toddlers with
disabilities aged six months to three all over the country.
The Challenge:
Today, the kindergarten teacher reports to the parents an ongoing report on the child's condition in the kindergarten,
which is conducted through a "contact notebook." The report is conducted through a page and a pen.
Client: Elwyn Israel | My role in the project was: Research, UX/UI Design
Israel Elwyn operates rehabilitation daycare centers for toddlers with disabilities aged six months to three all over the country.
As part of the rehabilitative daycare centers, the association is required by law to maintain a registration of a "contact
notebook "in which the kindergarten teacher registers for the parent/guardian an ongoing report on the child's condition in kindergarten. The report includes several parameters: sleeping, eating, mood, participation, playing, practicing with
paramedical staff, and more.
My Goals

The reports will be easy, ongoing, effective, and accessible to both parents and the Kesher care team through the App.
Parents will be updated at all times and will receive a quick and comprehensive report.
The Target Audience
Parents of toddlers with disabilities and care staff.
For children ages six months to three years old.
The number of users of the product will be 4000 people.
I believe that any other institution that cares for children with disabilities will be happy to have an option to use the App.

Personas
User flow
After the initial characterization was performed with the Alwyn Association, the process of flowing the screens for use in the application was planned.

Wireframes
After the flow process & survey analysis I drew Wireframes and presented them to the Alwyn Association

Market research
As part of the research process, similar apps were searched to understand the needs of the app users, to see what they
offer parents and kindergarteners. After getting acquainted with several applications on the market, no application was
found that is adapted and accessible for reporting and monitoring infants with disabilities in rehabilitative daycare centers, according to the parameters written in a contact notebook.

There are no daily personal reports

No medical reports

The parent cannot correspond with the kindergarten teacher
In parallel with my research process, I spoke with Israel Elwyn to understand their point of pain.
The association gave me authentic examples of reports in a contact notebook where it is possible how the kindergarten
teacher writes to the parent all the activities that the child went through in kindergarten daily.
I performed an important process after the market research which was to write a survey for parents whose children have disabilities with special needs and the kindergarten teachers who care for them.
I analyzed the survey and through it, I built the needs of the intended persona.
The Solution
An application for contacting a teacher and a parent that is securely supported by mobile. All reports and updates will be passed through it easily and efficiently on everyday issues. Eating, activities that took place in the kindergarten, treatments
of the health professions, and other regular updates between the kindergarten teacher and the parents. The staff will be accessible and easy to report and parents will be updated at all times and will receive a quick and comprehensive report.
An important advantage is that the medical file is stored in the cloud by the App.

Designed the app with a purple color since it symbolizes people with disabilities.
Parent’s screens
When registering the child with the educational institution (Elwyn daycare ), the details of the parents and the child in the institution's information systems will be updated and a user and password will be issued.

During the parent's initial connection to the App, the parent will be asked to type a password to be sent to email or mobile.

A screen of a general bulletin
board for the entire daycare
where activities and vacations
in the daycare will be updated.

The screen of daily reporting to
each parent individually - all the
daily reports shared from the
kindergarten teacher to the
parent. Sending pictures of the
child in daycare activities and
sending documents. In the daily
report, the parent can
correspond with the kindergarten
teacher.

After the parent connects to the
App, the home screen will
appear, through which the
ability to connect to the other
screens in the App.
